MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - One person is dead and another is injured following an early morning crash on State Highway 158 Tuesday.
Kevin Garcia, 22, was pronounced dead on scene after he failed to drive in a single lane, and drifted into the eastbound lane, colliding with another driver, Dean Rogers.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Garcia was traveling west on SH 158 in a Ford F-150 and Rogers was traveling east in a truck tractor about 12 miles from Midland when they collided.
Rogers was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
