ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Odessa High Bronchos fell short to Lubbock Coronado 30-27. That loss handed OHS their first loss of the season giving them a 2-1 record. One area that hurt the Bronchos was having 10 penalties for over 100 yards.
This week Odessa will have a shorter week and play at home on Thursday night. Head coach Danny Servance believes this is good for the team to bounce back after a tough loss.
"I think coming off a loss you do like that because you can get back out there and try to improve and prove yourself. We've already did it once this year so it's really not a big deal to us. We already did it when we played Monterey opening week on a Thursday so we're kind of following the same schedule we did that week," said Servance.
The Bronchos will play El Paso Montwood Thursday at Ratliff.
