ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A post circulating on Facebook has been claiming a new city ordinance in Odessa called for all puppies and owner surrenders to be euthanized immediately upon intake.

The post caused quite a stir on Facebook, but according to the Odessa Animal Shelter this post is false.

According to the shelter the policy has not changed and no such ordinance has been issued.
