PECOS COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Part of FM 1053 in Pecos County has been closed due to heavy rainfall.
The affected portion of road is south of Imperial and between FM 11 and FM 1450.
TxDOT says the road will be closed indefinitely until the damage can be assessed and repairs can be made.
A suggested detour for drivers would be to use FM 1450, Highway 18 and FM 11. Those traveling from I-20 to Fort Stockton can use Highway 18.
