Midland College hosts science lecture on bees in West Texas

Admission to the event is free and attendees are welcome to bring a lunch or purchase food from the Scharbauer Student Center Grill.

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Midland College is bringing back its First Friday Science Lecture series.

The first of the 2018 fall semester's lectures is "Honeybees and Native Bees of West Texas". It will start at noon on September 7 in the Scharbauer Student Center Carrasco Room.

Presenting the lecture is Michael Nickell, a museum scientist and naturalist for the Sibley Nature Center.

Admission to the event is free. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch or purchase food from the Scharbauer Student Center Grill.
