DPS decides against closing West Texas drivers license offices

WEST TEXAS (KWES) - The Department of Public Safety had good news for drivers license offices in West Texas.

The Sunset Commissioner declined to recommend closure for more than 87 offices across the state, which would have included several in West Texas identified as potential closure locations.

The list included Andrews, Big Lake, Crane, Iraan, Kermit, Monahans, Presidio, Seminole, Stanton and Van Horn.
