MISD principal awarded highest honor for Region 18 by TEPSA

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - A Midland ISD administrator has been granted the highest honor for Region 18 by TEPSA.

The Texas Elementary Principal and Supervisors Association granted Burnet Elementary Principal Angela Aron "TEPSAN of the Year" for the region.

This is the second consecutive year that and MISD campus administrator was awarded the highest honor.

Awards are handed out annually among colleagues from 20 TEPSA regions throughout the state.

Aron served as a special education teacher for six years before heading to Henderson Elementary to become the assistant principal. After two years she then moved to the role of principal, having served in that position for the past 15 years.

Region 18 consists of 19 counties and includes over 6,300 educators and 89,000 students.
