Texas Tech coaches, athletic director visit Midland

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Texas Tech coaches and athletic director visited Midland on Monday night for a Red Raider club event.

Head football coach Kliff Kingsbury, women's basketball coach Marlene Stollings and head baseball coach Tim Tadlock were all in attendance.

Tim Tadlock was asked to comment on the success that Mildand native and former Red Raider Grant Little has found in the minor leagues.

"Really proud of Grant. Kinda been following him throughout the summer and he's had a really good summer. Really just been ecstatic for him. He's exactly what you want when you get a guy," said Tadlock.

Coach Kingsbury was asked how things are going on the gridiron, with Tech's season opener less than two weeks away.

"Good. We had two really tough training camp weeks. This week will be more of a simulated game week. I like what I see. Lots of veteran players. Its been physical and competitive. I feel like we've made soem real strides," said Kinsgbury.
