Relay for Life is hosting a back to school dance Friday night as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. A photo booth and a concession stand will be available and there will be a back to school supply giveaway.

The 2nd Annual Parks Legado Farmers Market continues in Odessa on August 11. From 8 a.m. to noon you can walk around and experience over 80 unique vendors. Stay tuned to see if the weather will hold however, as rain might put a damper on this market.
The Boys and Girls Club in Midland will be hosting the 2nd Annual Family Fun Day at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion. The celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and the first 200 kids at the event will receive a free backpack full of school supplies.
Mid-cities Community Church will be holding a Guys Night Out Car Show from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 but if you are interested in entering your car registration is $25 with admission including. A BBQ meal will be included and a service will be held after the show.
St. Ann’s Catholic Church will be holding the 10th Annual Sportsman’s Freedom Raffle and Bar-B-Que Banquet at the Midland Downtown Lions Club. Over 100 prizes will be featured and raffle tickets can be picked up at the St. Anne’s Church Office. Admittance tickets are needed but the cost is only $10.
