OPD & MPD asking for public’s help with joint burglary investigation

MIDLAND-ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Tuesday night, the suspect shown below committed two burglaries in Odessa and one in Midland.

According to police, the thefts occured in Midland at 2700 North Big Spring and in Odessa at 8200 East Highway 191 and 4019 North JBS Parkway.

The suspect is described as a middle aged black male who walks with a slight limp and wears very distinct shoes.

Investigation revealed that the suspect made entry into all three businesses by throwing a large rock through the front glass door. The suspect stole cash registers from two of the businesses and a cash bag from the third business before fleeing the scene in a white Dodge minivan.

Midland Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information in reference to this investigation.
