MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland is warning drivers that construction has begun on portions of Main Street.
The work, which began on August 6, will result in a portion of Main Street being closed until August 20.
The affected portion of Main Street runs from Wall Street to Texas Avenue.

Drivers are asked to find alternate routes while work is being done.
This closure will allow engineers access to underground utility lines as part of the Midland Center Project.
