MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland Landfill has announced they will be implementing new hours starting July 23.
This change comes about due to an increase of volume for the landfill. The operating procedure for the landfill states it is a requirement that incoming material be sufficiently covered each day before new material can be accepted.
The city hopes the new hours will assist in providing sufficient time for the day's refuse to be processed.
The new hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Saturday hours will remain 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
