ANDREWS, TX (KWES) - The Andrews High School trap-shooting team competed in Michigan for the National Championship. After a packed weekend at Nationals, the Mustangs are on their way home feeling accomplished.
In the team competition, Andrews finished 58th out of 175 teams qualifying for the finals. They had three kids hit straight 25's. The Mustangs finished number 65 in the team finals and hit 907 total targets out of 1,000.
Coach Jesse Munoz said he is extremely proud of his team for competing at a National level in just their second season.
