A major crash involving multiple vehicles in this are has closed this portion of I-20 in Ector Co.
Traffic in both directions are being diverted to the service roads.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes if possible.
There is no estimation on when the road will be reopened but TxDOT expects the road to take a while.

Odessa Fire Rescue is responding to a fire at the intersection of I-20 and East Loop 338.
A truck is reportedly on fire in the westbound lane.
Crews have arrived on scene. Drivers are asked to use caution when driving through the area.
