MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Midland County Sheriff's Office has identified skeletal remains found in a pit in February 2018.
The remains found on West County Road 116 are those of John Iglesia-Alvarez and Ashley Cruz-Rodriguez, two teens reported missing in 2015.
The teens were both from Puerto Rico, and relatives originally called in stating that they had not heard from the two for over three weeks.
Two warrants for murder have been released for Angel Luis Lebron-Rivera, 40, who is also from Puerto Rico and who the teens had been staying with prior to their disappearance.
Rivera is no longer in the United States but is considered armed and dangerous.
