Sockers FC fall to Dutch Lions FC in Lone Star Conference semifinal

The Midland-Odessa Sockers FC took on the Dutch Lions FC in a Lone Star Conference semifinal match at Grande Communications Stadium. 

The game went into stoppage time where Sockers' Maxi Galizzi scored the equalizer making the game 1-1. The game remained tied after the first extra period, so the another 15-minute period was played. 

The Sockers FC fell short 3-2. The Dutch Lions will meet the winner of the Laredo vs. Fort Worth game in the final.
