George W. Bush home hosts July Third Thursday Reading Program

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

The George W. Bush Childhood Home has announced its feature book for the next Third Thursday Reading Program event.

July’s book is “The Newbies” by Peter Catalanotto, although other books will be read at the event.

This event is part of the Laura Bush Literacy Program Reading Event and is completely free for children of all ages. Registration for the event is required however as space is limited.

The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on July 19.

Registered children who attend the event will receive snacks, a free copy of “The Newbies” and a gift from Whataburger.
