ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Health inspectors saw the best of both worlds for the week of June 11 through June 15. Odessa saw a few restaurants with perfect scores but did have one make our low performer list. And for the second straight week, Midland had no reports for us to review for this particular week.

Chinese Cuisine at 2900 Andrews Hwy. in Odessa was cited for the following:

- Fried chicken parts found in colander, uncovered, on the counter and cooling, temperature was in danger zone near 100 degrees Fahrenheit - Ventilation hood needs cleaning, oil dripping onto food - Not all employees had food handler training cards - Food container labels had worn off - Not all persons in charge were certified food managers - Personal drinks in cook area - No sanitizer at hand washing sink - Reach-in cold hold not keeping foods cold enough

This resulted in the health inspector deducting 17 points from Chinese Cuisine.

As we mentioned, there were a number of restaurants with perfect scores for the week. Here's a look at Odessa's top performers:

- Barn Door Steakhouse (2140 Andrews Hwy.) - Quizno's @ MCH (500 W. 4th St.) - Lucy's Café (615 W. Clements St.) - Sid & Sam's Steakhouse (1353 W. University Blvd.)

Again, there were no reports in Midland for us to review for this particular week.
