ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Odessa Police charged Tyjuan Deshan Robinson, 34, with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Violence) "2nd Degree Felony" on Wednesday.
On April 28, 2018, a complainant told police that she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, identified as Robinson.
The complainant reported that she did not feel like arguing with Robinson and went to bed before being woke up by a strike to her head and Robinson standing by her bed, holding a gun in his hand.
She advised her family members to call for help and Robinson fled the scene.
The victim sustained serious bodily injury as a result of the incident and OPD detectives obtained a warrant for Robinson.
