MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Two legal clinics will be available to veterans in Midland on Friday.
One clinic is for child support modification issues and the second clinic is for expunctions and orders of non-disclosure.
Low income, disabled, unemployed or homeless veterans will meet with either a family law attorney or an attorney for the Texas Attorney General's Office, HEROES project.
Pro-bono attorneys provide free legal counsel and advice for child support modification issues but reps from the Attorney General's Office can't represent or provide legal assistance.
The clinic for expunctions and orders of non-disclosure will be available at 9 a.m. The child support modification clinic will be available at 1 p.m. Both are on May 18 at the Junior League of Midland this Friday. You must bring your DD form 214 or your VA ID card. No walk-ins are allowed.
