Suspects wanted in connection with shooting at Odessa Kent Kwik

The two persons of interest are now wanted in connection with the investigation. Charges have been filed against them, including evading arrest and tampering with evidence.

Salinas is no longer listed as a patient at MCH.


An Odessa man is in serious condition following a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in North Odessa.

Odessa Police responded to a gunshot victim Friday and, an investigation revealed that after a disturbance occurred in the Kent Kwik parking lot, Praxeded Salinas III, 24, was shot in the head by an unknown subject

According to OPD, the suspects fled the scene in a black 2014 Dodge Charger.

Salinas was transported to ORMC and later transported to MCH with serious bodily injury.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, approximately 6' tall and 150 pounds, wearing a black & white shirt and black sweat pants.

Two persons of interest, Kendra Griffin, 22, and Cameron Griffin, 20, and the Charger have been located and are no longer wanted for questioning.
