MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland received its May sales tax revenue check on Wednesday, May 9.
The total amount of revenue that the city received was $4,824,350. This amount is a 46.75 percent increase from the previous May's revenue.
The year-to-date total sales tax revenue for the fiscal year of 2017-2018 is also up. The increase totals to 38.4 percent.
Revenue checks are based on sales tax income from two months prior.
