Police identify, charge suspects in Wal-Mart robbery investigation

Police have identified the suspects involved in the Wal-Mart robbery investigation and both are in the custody of law enforcement.

Jonathan James Losoya, 20, and Ruby Garcia Asebedo, 34, are charged with Aggravated Robbery “1st Degree Felony”.

Asebedo is in Custody at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

Losoya is in custody at the Lea County Detention Center on charges unrelated to the robbery.

The suspects were identified as a result of a Crime Stoppers tip.

Odessa Police are searching for 2 suspects in connection with a robbery of the Wal-Mart on 4210 North JBS Parkway.

Police responded to the Wal-Mart robbery on April 9 at 4:23 p.m. Investigators said that a man and a woman attempted to exit the store while concealing merchandise. Wal-Mart personnel confronted the two suspects, but the man pulled out a knife and pointed it at the employee.

The suspects fled the scene in a white 2007 Ford Mustang with black stripes.
