The Midland College baseball team is gearing up for the Region V Tournament as the #3 seed. The Chaps will face the #2 team McLennan Community College. MC faced them earlier in the season but since then have improved with their consistency at the plate and on the field.
Last year the chaps were eliminated in game three of the tournament, but this year the team is a little different especially when it comes to their chemistry.
"There's no separate groups on the team we all like each other we all hang out with each other. I think the team aspect is much better than last years team. I think that's why we're better," said Logan McCrummen.
Midland College has their first game of the tournament tomorrow at 5 p.m. in Grand Prairie.
