Edouch man dead after 2-vehicle crash in Glasscock Co.

A two-vehicle crash in Glasscock County has taken the life of one Edcouch man.

The driver was towing a semi-trailer with a 1999 Kenworth truck tractor and traveling east on State Highway 158. A second vehicle, a 2014 Peterbilt truck tractor, was traveling north on State Highway 137. The first vehicle failed to yield to the red light at the intersection and collided with the second vehicle.

The driver of the first vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.

The second vehicle’s driver suffered incapacitating injuries and was transported to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. His passenger suffered non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital.
