(KWES) - The price of crude oil has climbed above $70 a barrel for the first time since 2014.

West Texas Intermediate crude CLM8, -.17 percent rose $1.01, or about 1.5 percent, to settle at $70.73 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
