ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Update: Odessa police say Petra Lopez has died after being hit by the Dodge Durango this morning.

A woman is in critical condition after a car-pedestrian crash.
Odessa Police were called to 19th St. and Golder Ave. at around 8 a.m. on April 27.
An investigation of the incident revealed that a vehicle, driven by Kimberly Vela, 26, was attempting to turn north on Golder Ave. from 19th St. Petra Lopez, 70, was walking east on the cross walk and was struck by the vehicle.
We're told that Lopez has been transported to Medical Center Hospital with life-threating injuries. No other injuries were reported.
This investigation is on-going.
