(KWES) - The Basin's 6-A softball teams just wrapped up their regular seasons. The baseball teams still have one more week, meaning there are a couple more games to be played before it's all said and done.

The top four teams will make the playoff cut. Frenship has secured the district title.Odessa High and Midland Lee have clinched their spots in the postseason, but the fourth spot is still up for grabs.

After sweeping OHS last week, Permian can secure a spot if they beat Amarillo Tascosa at least once this week to give them seven wins in district play. The Panthers will face Tascosa at home tomorrow night and away on Friday.

Midland High snapped a 22-day winless streak on Saturday to keep their playoff hopes alive. They sit right behind Permian in the standings but would have to beat the top team in the District, Frenship, twice this week in order to tie Permian for that fourth spot. The Bulldogs play at home tomorrow and at Frenship on Friday.
