MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) - According to the Texas Department of Transportation, one driver is dead after a fatal crash on State Highway 137 at the intersection with Farm to Market 307 in far east Midland County, Thursday morning.
As part of a two-vehicle collision, a semi went through the guardrail and into a ditch after a pickup truck failed to yield.
DPS has closed the highway but expects the road to be open by this afternoon, pending investigation and debris removal.
