ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Permian Panthers started spring football on Wednesday night. Here are a few things they will be focusing on leading up to their spring game on May 16.
Coach Feldt said anytime you have spring practice, the main priority is obviously to get better as a football team and to get better as a team you have to improve as individuals.
Those individuals will be tested out in different roles this spring to try to fill some of the gaps left by the graduating class. Mojo is looking for several guys to step up to key roles on the defensive side.
Lastly, Coach Feldt said a major key to spring success is to get better every day but stay healthy along the way. He preached intensity today but knows staying ready the fall is a top priority.
