One suspect is arrested in connection to a shots-fired call in Odessa

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

One man is behind bars after a victim was shot at earlier today.

Joey Maldonado, 26, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Odessa police responded to a shots-fired call at around 12:30 p.m. in the area of 12th St. and North Alleghaney Ave. on Saturday.

We’re told that a male subject was shot at and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was not transported to the hospital.

Odessa police have informed us that the investigation is ongoing and there are still more suspects.
