MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

The Midland RockHounds won five of their six first home games of the season. The RockHounds pitching staff as an ERA of 3.67 and is currently tied for second in the league with the Frisco Rough Riders.

One stand out pitcher in the homestand was Joel Seddon. He originally was a reliever but has developed into a starter. Seddon made his second start of the season Tuesday night.

He pitched seven scoreless innings and currently has a 1.64 ERA.

"Last year I did a little bit of everything. I'm excited to be starter and go into this year as a starter. I've worked a lot in the off-season with my breaking ball and stuff so I want to get that sharper. So just go out and help the team win. I think that's my goal every year and the rest will take care of itself," said Joel Seddon.

The RockHounds travel to Springfield on Thursday for a three game series.
