MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

Several new apartment complexes are under construction in Midland right now.

Crews are currently building the foundation for one of them located on the 200 block of Beal Parkway called "Merritt Monument."

The development received its permit back in August of 2017 and is set to bring 104 apartments to the Tall City.

Another complex closer to completion is located on Sandstone drive near Green Tree Boulevard.

Officials issued a permit for this complex back in December of 2015, and the soon to be Sandstone Crossing development will offer 39 townhomes.

There is also a development that received a permit earlier this year in February and will be constructed on Mockingbird lane near the Oasis at Pavilion Park.

The complex will be named Pavilion Park 2.

Officials also tell us there are at least two other apartment complexes in the pre-permit phase of approval.
