BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - According to Big Spring ISD, current assistant superintendent Jay McWilliams was named Lone Finalist for the vacant superintendent's position during a school board meeting, April 2, 2018.
McWilliams has been with the district for two years and has 35 years of total experience.
Current interim superintendent Johnny Tubb will remain with the district until they can wait the 21 days before voting to hire him as superintendent.
