ODESSA, TX (KWES) - According to Odessa Police, a concerned citizen's phone call led to the arrest of Anthony Rey Sanchez Sunday, April 1, 2018
Police responded after someone called in a suspicious person, later identified as Sanchez, entering several vehicles in the parking lot and stopped him from leaving.
As police arrived they witnessed the struggle and attempted to handcuff Sanchez, who actively resisted arrest before eventually being placed into custody.
Police investigation revealed that Sanchez had burglarized and was in possession of property belonging to four vehicles, as well as five outstanding warrants.
Sanchez was charged with four counts of Burglary of a Vehicle and Resisting Arrest.
