ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Ector County Commissioners approved National Crime Victim's Rights week on March 26.
Crime Victim's Rights week will start on April 8.
During that week, the focus will be on spreading awareness on how victim's voices can be heard.
"To try and prevent a lot of crime from happening here, and at the same time try and get more recognition about places they can go when they happen. And, hoping that people can see that they can get assistance with that and stop from accepting that," said Ector County Precinct Four Commissioner Armando S. Rodriguez.
