ODESSA, TX (KWES) - In honor of women's history, month student life at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin hosted an Equali-Tea.
The event was to show female students how they can empower themselves and others.
Sandra Woodley hosted the event on campus where she answered questions about how she became president of UTPB.
Woodley says with everything negative we've seen in the media she wants to spread some positivity with this event.
