UPDATE: Man wanted for questioning in Hobbs murder case found in San Angelo

HOBBS, NM (KWES) -

A man wanted for questioning in a murder case in Hobbs was caught in San Angelo.

Officers tracked down Angel Baeza, 35, hiding in a vacant home.

We're told he was armed with a gun and that SWAT and negotiators were called in. Not long after making contact, police say Baeza surrendered peacefully.

Baeza a person of interest in the murder of 29-year-old Yvonne Villalobos who was found shot in Hobbs last week.

Police are still searching for 36-year-old Jose Acosta.

New Mexico authorities need your help finding Jose Acosta, 36, and Angel Baeza, 35, two persons of interest in the death of Yvonne Villalobos.

Hobbs Police responded to a call Saturday where they found Villalobos unresponsive with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
