FORT STOCKTON, TX (KWES) - If you want to give back to the Fort Stockton Community Theatre but also want to catch a comedy show, you're in luck.
This week, they're having a performance called Double Wide Texas. The show is about a small Texas town called Tugaloo and the town is trying to annex a mobile-home park. The comedy shows how the trailer-park residents start to fight back and what happens over the next five days.
The play will run this week starting this Thursday until Tuesday.
The showtimes are as follows:
- Thursday, March 22, 7:30 pm
- Friday, March 23, 8:00 pm
- Saturday, March 24, Dinner Theatre, 7:00 pm
- Sunday, March 25, 2:00 pm matinee
- Monday, March 26, 7:30 pm
- Tuesday, March 27, 7:30 pm
Tickets are $10 at the door and $8 for students and senior citizens. There will be a dinner theater show this Saturday that includes a steak dinner followed by the performance. The dinner theater costs $40 but be sure to check with the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce at (432) 336-2264 for any availabilities.
All proceeds will go toward the Fort Stockton Community Theatre's new building and renovations.
