Painting of grandmother on Presidio water tower finished
For the last couple of weeks an artist known as "El Mac" has spent eight to 12 hours a day repainting Presidio's water tower. The picture is of abuela, a Mexican grandmother holding a rose. El Mac says the mural is based on a woman he met in Presidio named Linda Lujan. He chose to paint her simply because her face looked maternal. PRESIDIO, TX (KWES) - For the last couple of weeks an artist known as "El Mac" has spent eight to 12 hours a day repainting Presidio's water tower.
The picture is of abuela, a Mexican grandmother holding a rose.
