(KWES) - Spring Break starts this week for The Ector County Independent School District and the Midland Independent School District.
Students will have Monday through Friday off, leaving them with quite a bit of free time.
Instead of staying at home and playing video games, camps are a great way fro kids to remain social and active outside of school.
Here in the Permian Basin there are a number of different options for camps, some focus on sports, others focus on arts and crafts and some are a mix of both.
If you haven't signed up your child for camp, some may already be full, but there are still options on the table.
Here are some options.
- COM aquatics - swimming and other activities
- Sockers - soccer camp
- Midland YMCA - all sports camp
- Permian Playhouse "Villain: A Wicked Good Camp" - acting camp
- Kids and Canvas "Books and Brushes camp" - arts and crafts camp
- Midland Parks and recreations "MLK Adventures" - sports and crafts
