ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Odessa Police Department is investigating a Thursday night shooting at Sherwood Park.

Just before 11 p.m., police were called out to 4520 North Dixie, where they found an 18-year-old man who had been shot at, but came out uninjured.

The victim told officers while he was in the South parking lot of the park, a white Monte Carlo with black stripes was heading eastbound on 44th Street. As the car got closer to the victim, it slowed down and someone began to shoot at him.

People then started to flee the scene in their cars.

One 19-year-old did sustain a gunshot to the lower leg. He described the suspect's car as a 2000 Altima or Firebird.

Multiple cars were shot at and officers were able to locate several shell casings in the 1100 block of East 44th.

While arrests have not been made, police are looking for suspects. Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has more information is asked to call OPD at 432-333-TIPS.
