3 earthquakes reported in Jeff Davis Co. over 3 days

JEFF DAVIS COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

Several earthquakes were reported in Jeff Davis County over the past 3 days.

The first earthquake happened Saturday afternoon, around 12:30 p.m. and measured 2.6 magnitude.

The second earthquake occurred early Sunday morning around 7:53 a.m. and measured 2.2 magnitude.

The final earthquake was reported early Monday morning around 7:30 a.m. and measured 2.7 magnitude.

All of the earthquakes occurred south-southwest of Balmorhea.

    Ector County Sheriff's Office have issued a warrant for 27-year-old Jesus Cajica Zermeno. Zermeno is accused of shooting and killing one man on the 12000 block of Citiation Drive and injuring another in mid-November.
