ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

The Ector County Sheriff's Office is wearing pink badges for a cause.

The deputies have been wearing these badges in to show support for breast cancer awareness. As one of the leading health crisis for women, they knew they had to do something for the month of October.

The officers participating bought the badges with their own money. They hope they will inspire hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection.
