Police investigating Oct. robbery in Odessa

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Odessa police need your help involving a weekend robbery that occurred earlier this month.

We're told that Odessa police were called out to the 7-Eleven on Harless Ave. around 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 8, 2017.

When officers arrived, two clerks at the store told them that two male subjects entered the store and demanded money out of the register.

Police said that one of the suspects showed a knife while the other subject jumped over the counter and took several packs of cigarettes.

We're told that both suspects left the store with the cigarettes and were seen leaving in an unknown truck behind the store.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'6" tall, 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and blue mask.

The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'6" tall, 150 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie and black mask.

     According to police, a black Ford F-150, being operated by Marcelo Olivas, 17, was traveling on private property when a 20-month-old boy ran out in front of the F-150 and was struck by it.
