WINKLER COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

DPS has identified three people who were killed Sunday morning.

The three were traveling on State Highway 302, just four miles west of Kermit when the collision occurred.

We're told John A. Gooden, 48, of Alamogordo, NM, was traveling east when he tried to unsafely pass Hector Torres, 53, of Cape Coral, FL,  who was driving a semi and collided with him.

His semi then lost control and struck Carlos Santiago, 24, of Lake Worth, FL, driving another semi.

Unfortunately, all three were pronounced dead on the scene.
