Restaurant Report: Several top performers in Odessa

The week of September 25 through September 29 proved to be an easy one for health inspectors in Odessa. There were no low performers for the week, but there were plenty of restaurants with perfect scores. For the second straight week, Midland did not have any reports available.

    The Big Spring Police Department and Howard County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Department of Public Safety and Howard County District Attorney’s Office, have just completed an operation targeting online sexual predators.  During this operation, undercover investigative personnel posted fictitious ads or profiles on various social media platforms, and websites posing as prostitutes or those soliciting prostitutes.

    Kelly Raines and assistant coach Shelby Shelton are being honored as coaching staff of the year after taking the Hawks softball team to the NJCAA Division I Softball national tournament back in May and helped the team secure the Region V West Championship for the fourth consecutive year.
