U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigating vandalism at Monahans Post Office

MONAHANS, TX (KWES) -

The United States Postal Inspection Service is seeking information following a vandalism at the Monahans Post Office.

We're told the blue collection mail boxes at the post office were vandalized.

Authorities said the vandalism occurred between 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, and Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at 8 a.m.

We're told that if you placed outgoing mail in the collection box within the time frame; specifically any negotiable items such as checks or money orders, to call either (915) 545-5206 or (915) 545-5195.

All information will be kept confidential.
