1 person sentenced to 40 years behind bars for Methamphetamine possession

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

An Ector County jury sentenced one person behind bars for possession and intent to deliver a controlled substance.

On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, an Ector County jury found Moises Hernandez guilty of possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

We’re told the suspect had more than 4 grams, but less than 200 grams, with intent to deliver and the punishment assessed at 40 years behind bars. 

We’re told John Shrode and Scott Turner prosecuted the case and Bret Mansur represented the defendant.

    Ector County Sheriff's Office have issued a warrant for 27-year-old Jesus Cajica Zermeno. Zermeno is accused of shooting and killing one man on the 12000 block of Citiation Drive and injuring another in mid-November.
