(KWES) - One woman will spend the rest of her life behind bars after being found guilty of aggravated sexual assault.
Amber Haugen was found guilty after 15 minutes of deliberation.
Then following a 25 minute deliberation on a sentence, Haugen was given the maximum sentence of life behind bars and a $10,000 fine.
We're told Haugen was previously convicted in the United States District Court for child pornography in a related case and received a sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
In a statement, Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland said, "This quick maximum sentence by this jury shows our community's commitment to remove this scourge against our children from society."
